A CALL TO LIVE PRACTICALLY
As a result of submission to
The regenerating power
Of Jesus Christ,
The King of Kings,
We once and forever end
Our life dominating sins
Committing ourselves to
a Liberating life relationship
In Jesus Christ the King
Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrated His own love toward us in that while we were yet
sinners, Christ died for us."
Archie and the Preacher

An excerpt from:
The Preacher (Willie)
"Sometimes an hour of
counsel and forethought
can save hours of
useless endeavor."
Abraham, Moses, Joseph - All
had to spend some time in a
wilderness experience. I
suppose it was in order for God
to get their full attention before
starting the work that He had
planned for them from the
beginning of time.
Apparently I was to be no
different. As I lay in bed and
thought these thoughts, the sun
was just starting to break
through the window of the shack
I now called home, and expected
to for as long as it took for me to
learn all God had in store. I
wondered if Archie was to be my
mentor in these things.

The setting: 1910 El Paso, Texas, and the Texas Panhandle.
The preacher, a young William Granthom; orphaned at a young age, raised and educated back East in Christian
seminaries with the hope of one day preaching in the untamed West, which had taken his parents.
Archibald Andrew Armstrong, Archie, a Civil War veteran, who after seventy years still found profound joy and
peace in God and Jesus Christ.
Archie and the Preacher is the story of God bringing these two together for William’s learning and the
unraveling of his mysterious past—a past that had been manipulated by lies, murder, fraud, and deceit.
Only his foster father, Dolan Clancy, can be trusted for help, until Archie, with the aid of his lawman son-in-law
and a U.S. Marshal, begins piecing the puzzle together of William’s past and dangerous present. Revelation and
love permeate this story.
